The Polo Calendar

The Polo Calendar.

Polo has two seasons in the UK. The winter season is known as Arena Polo as it is played on an all weather surface in an enclosed space (the arena). The summer season is played on grass and called Outdoor Polo.

Currently we are getting towards the close of the winter season with the finals of the Arena Gold Cup being played this coming weekend at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. The next big Arena Event is the Bryan Morrison Trophy Test Match which will be held at Hickstead on Saturday 5 March. April is the transitional month between the two seasons, with the first big Outdoor Event taking place at Cowdray Park in the middle of May.

Whether you are a polo player or a spectator it is great to see the top British and International polo players in action. Here are the main High Goal events that take place throughout the year in the UK.
